Well hello FS friends; it’s been a while. Scrolling through the feed and decided it’s time to acknowledge the slow creep that’s been happening for the past several months. This is what I weighed a few days ago and it’s close enough. Trying to get back to daily tracking. It was so easy to get out of the habit due to summer trips and other distractions. Anyway, after months and months of no progress at all toward my goal weight now things are headed in the wrong direction. Been here on the weight loss roller-coaster before but this time I’m aware and not going to ignore it. I’m tired of trying and tired of tracking but both are necessary to turn this around. Remembering to be grateful for all my blessings, including the support of this community. ~ RhumbaGirl

sooooo… could it be because I had a nice big salad two days in a row in addition to gym classes on Saturday? Not sure but I’m way overdue for a happy result on the scale. Doctor visit coming up so that’s incentive to not screw up til then. Hope you have a great week, friends!

Changed batteries in scale. In the past week I had two overnight trips to NYC and did some walking where in the past I would have wanted a ride. Not great distances really, but still should count for something. My endurance is definitely better than it used to be so that’s good. My eating has not been outrageous so you would think there would have been some progress on the scale but I guess not. I am past getting bummed about it. Lab tests next week including a comprehensive lipid panel I have not done before (particle size) so that should be interesting. Also resuming daily detailed tracking which has been hit or miss lately so I can look at reliable macro numbers for May. Happy for my generally good health and many blessings, including this app and great people. “One day at a time, one meal at a time. Make it, log it, eat it.” (gastropod).
