Frankly, I'm on and off Atkins from day to day. It's not a great way to go about it, but I'm still losing, very slowly. Anyhow, this is the first time I've recorded my weight here, in a few months ... although I've been tracking it on MFP & Atkins.
I will NOT be sick to I low carb today, as it's my BIRTHDAY. Ugh, I'm 44, but the option is aging or death ... LOL.
I forced myself to go to the gym last night, though, and did 40 min on the elliptical. So, at least I've been twice this week (I've been averaging once a week).

I've been following Atkins okay, but having a few days a week where I eat carbs, as long as my caloric range is still okay. I did that last night, probably because I finally went below 170, and felt like I had a little wiggle room. I'm not rewarding myself with food, generally. I really need to clothing shop, nothing fits well.

Well, my weight was actually lower on Monday -- it hit 171.8 ... But I forgot to log that. I am losing at a snail's pace, but it has been 40 pounds gone in exactly one year. Now, I'm working towards ditching the next 40. I need to up the exercise. Getting to the gym once a week isn't cutting it.

Well, just decided to check out my BMI -- its 39.3; I'd have to lose at least 42 pounds for my BMI hit the overweight range! The thrills of being sooo damned short, oy.
From the CDC website:
Height: 4 feet, 8 inches
Weight: 175.2 pounds
Your BMI is 39.3, indicating your weight is in the Obese category for adults of your height.
For your height, a normal weight range would be from 83 to 111 pounds.
People who are overweight or obese are at higher risk for chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
Ha! I'd look like a crackhead were my weight in the prescribed range. I'll be thrilled to hit 150 again -- that was my lowest weight as an adult (back in 2009). Then I'll take it from there. Ideally, I don't know what weight I'd like to be, but I do think that at 150 I'd like to consult with a plastic surgeon, and at the very least, look into what that would cost and entail. A thigh lift and a tummy tuck are what most interest me ... My thighs will never look decent, otherwise. I was once nearly 300 pounds, and it has taken it's toll on my body.
