I have been reading post and see a lot of negativity. to all 2016 is a brand new year. learn how to be positive and we all will have hiccups along the way but stay strong and find away to reach your goals. FYI I had brain surgery in May of this year and I will not let that get me down. I am determined to be as healthy as I can be and I Try not to let the scale intimidate me. Just take things day by day we will get where we want to be eventually:-) life changes are not temporary fixes and they don't come easy.

what I have learned this year.
1. It's a life change/ commitment it's not just a diet.
2. it's 80% food 20% exercise in order to loses weight.
3. also I apply 80/20 rule in eating habits. you can't deprive yourself of your favorite foods.
4. I learned that even foods that say diet in them or fat free or no sugar added are not necessarily good for you.
5. stay on track and count your calories.
6. eating under 1000 calories will deprive your body of the nutrients it needs. body will start to store fat. then after a while you will start craving carbs and junk and then go into a binge. it's a vicious cycle.
7. don't beat yourself up when you have a set back or haven't lost anything in a few weeks your body eventually will slim up and drop weight. takes time to catch up. lol
8. everyday is a new day keep going and stay positive.
9. Drink plenty of water. it's important! water keeps everything moving.
10. your body needs good fat. such as avocado to coconut oil. great for digestion and skin. helps your metabolism as well.
just thought I would share:-)
