I am back! That's not a good thing but in a way it is because it means I still care. A little about me. I am 47 and started gaining weight when I was 30. I never had a problem with weight and didn't think about it much. I was always just "normal size".
30 came and life changed. I was more content and life seemed to slow down and because I never worried about what I ate because it never affected my weight I started eating more. I am 5'10". My body decided it needed a nice fat reserve and I went from 150-160lbs to 240lbs pretty quick. My weight even went as high as 260lbs.
In 2018 I decided I needed to fix it. I ached all over etc. It sucked. So, I lost 57 lbs and was down to 191. I still needed to lose more but I lost interest in it. I felt much better and so I went back to eating crap. My weight started going back up. It went up to 240lbs. I tried off an on to eat less and got my weight to stay in the low 230's but really...this is horrible. So, I am fixing it again...again..
I am determined to stay at the lower weight. It's difficult but I will think of it as a hobby. I have hobbies that I put a lot of time into. My health will be my most challenging and most important hobby.
(too lazy to put in exactly what I eat. Just tracking calories. I really don't eat cheese every morning. lol. Although...now that I think about it...)

Need a little motivation...
I've lost 20lbs and have not kicked the junk/fastfood habit. Probably never will. As long as you are eating smaller amounts, sticking to your calories, you will be fine. Walking is great and all you have to do is put one foot in front of the other. No fancy routines there. If your going to try fitness vids/games just start with moving your arms then add your legs in later. I know with some dance games i will just follow along with arm movements sometimes. I don't know if this helps but for what it's worth...

Motivation Problems :/
I still eat fastfood, soda and junk. I just eat less of it now. I've found it to be easier to lose weight by eating what you love in small amounts than just doing away with all of it. Of course adding some fruits and veggies to the mix doesnt hurt. Find exercise that you love doing. Go for a walk. Dance. Swim. Bike rides. It doesnt have to be boring and repetative. You want to look back on this day months/years from now and say "thats when i took control of my life and changed it for the better."
