Talk is cheap and I spouted a lot of it over the years; yo-yo dieting and not holding myself accountable for the things I ate and the exercise I didn’t commit to.
Well I’m 30 now. I look back on my history and my prior attempts and you know I’ve learned something.
Dieting is a waste of time. Low carb is dumb unless you plan on never eating another carb again.. dieting is a short term solution and isn’t a long term goal.
I’ve changed the way I look at this now. If you truly want to make change happen, the only solution is living a healthier lifestyle. That means getting out and being active, being more choosy about what goes on, pushing yourself to be a better you every day.
I’ve wasted a lot of time trying fad diets and I wish I knew what I know now. It doesn’t even mean you have to give up the foods you love. Hell, I even had Taco Bell tonight and Pizza for lunch yesterday. But it’s about holding yourself accountable for it all.
I’m gonna lose the next 15 lbs and I’ll see where I fit.
