I am officially down 7.2 lbs from when I restarted my diet. I am really good at losing a couple pounds then having a food craving like none other and gain it all back then some. I haven't been this close to getting out of the 230's in over a year! I know that being down with allergies and the medicine I have been taking has helped me with my appetite but I feel so much better about myself knowing I'm almost down 10 lbs. I am just praying that God will give me the strength to continue. My right hip was beginning to hurt almost all the time and I know it had to be the extra weight. It hurt to walk, to sit, to sleep, it didn't matter but now that I have gotten just over 7 lbs off, I can feel a huge difference. My goal is to be down enough weight by summer that I can climb a local mountain with my daughter this summer. She keeps asking and asking but this is a steep mountain that I even had trouble with when I was in shape and under 155 lbs. I can honestly say I have never been this determined for the weight to come off and I am excited to hear the first person to mention something about my weight loss. I'm not sure how much I will have to lose to be able to notice anything but it's something to look forward to and it keeps me on my toes.
