I have a 5K this Saturday and I'm really excited! I hope I have improved my time I have been doing my insanity and this is my last week. I can't wait to let all of you know if I have improved!

I just can't seem to lose weight so I have decided to get in the best shape of my life and stop staring at the scale so much. My body fat is just a little higher then I would like so I'm going to turn it into muscle!

I know why they say diet and exercise is losing weight the hard way! The weight comes off so slowly. I just keep telling myself I'm adding muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. I have had a lot of complements about my body so I guess Its working. I just wish the scale said so too!

I tried something new today. Instead of having a breakfast, I had a protein shake and vitamins. It really cut down on my calories and I didn't feel hungry because the protein kept me full. I will keep doing this and tell everyone how it goes.
