Evenings home alone are ripe with thoughts of eating off plan and the niggling voice saying, "you lost X amount of weight, you can always get back on track tomorrow." Well, no, when I decide I am going to chuck it, it tends to stay chucked. It's easier to stay on track than to get back on track. Probably better this way. Otherwise, I would go off track twice a week, stop seeing results, and give up entirely. So I'm not giving up and here is why: I want increased strength and endurance. Carrying around 165 extra pounds makes everything harder. I want to prove to myself I am strong enough to follow through doing all the work needed to get me from here to there.

Breaking fast today with bone broth around noon, then liver and onions a couple hours later. Liver has been soaking in buttermilk all night. Have been dreaming about it for days 😅 Hubby won't eat it, so I will be eating it all weekend. Also, raspberries are ripening in the yard, so will be eating those. Fasting is going well. No muscle cramps or headache. Not supplementing with any salts or electrolytes, just drinking water to thirst and letting my kidneys balance everything out. Much gratitude to my fasting buddies ❤ Shout out to YOH, who suggested logging my "off track" meals ahead of eating them. I was thinking of eating a big bowl of something crunchy from the grain family and logged 800 kcal. Um, no thanks. Delete, delete, delete 😆

This is a 0.6 lb decrease from my lowest fasted weight, a hard won victory. Logging calories under RDI, time restricted feeding and exercise feel really good day to day, but I wasn't seeing weight loss. Hubby said I am building muscle and I know I am getting stronger day to day during my 30-40 min bike, ab and upper body session. Who knows. He squeezes my butt and says it's smaller "for sure." You can't argue with science 😅
