I’m 41 I have high blood pressure and need to lose weight as my dr puts it, and to be honest my muscles in my legs aren’t the best because I had previous knee surgery I had in my early 20s from a gymnastics incident. When I became a mum I was stress eating a lot and stop taking care of myself, now he is 11 and is more independent it’s time to get my healthy self back.

I had knee reinlinement surgery when I was in my 20s and they are like 50% smaller that they are supposed to be, if the surgery is anything like that, the recovery isn’t fun.. I believe you, like myself eat for the dopamine high. So I find sucking on lollipops or chewing gum helps me with that. But if you have diabetes I such you don’t do that unless you get the sugar free ones. After I had surgery back then I had a personal trainer and he encouraged me to stick to a diet because having to relearn to walk again, you do not want to be heavy. Celery and those mini cucumbers were my best friend back then. Though I was young… I don’t know what it is like to be in my 70s. Have you heard of those weighted balls you can get? They hare fun to throw up and down and burn extra calories, and requires no legs, unless your shoulder joints are bad too. The joys of getting old..
