Well, it's officially been "forever" since I've gotten on here. I was doing really well for a while, and then stress and the return of my husband shot me back upwards where I didn't want to be. So last week I started attending Weight Watchers with a friend of mine, and so far I've lost 4 pounds. So, again, I'm going in the direction I need to be moving.

With the new-found diet plan, I'm re-committing to getting on here daily for updates and whatnot. I have a LONG journey ahead, but I know that I can't do it alone - the past two months has proven that once and for all.

My husband is back in Iraq - so I'll see him in June or September (depending on if his 15-month tour is cut to 12-months). And now is time to focus on me - make me better for me (and health-wise for my family). During my couple months of upwards moving, I was also unable to exercise because my doctor thought that I had torn my ACL. Thankfully, the MRI showed I didn't, and so now I need to get back on that eliptical and back out walking!!

I'm off to eat breakfast; however, I don't know how well the remainder of the day's eating will be (the in-laws are in town, so I see a restaurant or two in our future). Hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!!

The weekend went pretty well. No over-eating (though I thought about it a lot - lol) - so I'm proud of that! We were pretty active this weekend and, in fact, I rented a couple movies that are STILL downstairs because I never found the time to watch them. Guess I will today though because I really hate late fees - lol.

I had a job interview on Friday, so the nerves kept me from eating too much - and in fact, it turned out to be a bad thing. I think I literally ate one thing all day Friday, so I need be careful about that. I know that's just as damaging to my weightloss goals as over-eating is. Well, the interview went well I suppose, because I was called back for a second one today. (Though it's now been postponed until Monday.) So I'll just try my hardest not to let my nerves change my eating habits too much.

Monday (the 29th) will also be my 29th birthday....so my son is already trying to figure out how we're going to celebrate -- which of course generally includes a cake or whatnot. I was thinking, at first, that instead of a cake, I'd make rice crispy treats....but I know me - and having that much sugar in the house isn't a good idea either - lol. Soooo, I think we'll go out to dinner. Not to a fast food place (so I don't think that interferes with the SuperSlim Me challenge)...but some where I can get a small meal and he can get a desert so he feels we celebrated. I'm going to look up the menu and scout the items before we go though -- already get a game-plan in mind.

About 4 and a half weeks before my husband starts his treck.....so I'm looking at that time-line as a goal line for me. I know I can do it - especially with all of your support - you guys have been wonderful -- THANK YOU!!!!

This past week I haven't been on very much. Couple my busy schedule (kid has something going on 4 days a week - lol) with the depressing news that my husband won't be home as soon as we were planning - and it crashed only my diet, but not my entire routine.

I've gained half a pound, which I guess isn't terrible, but I need to start picking up the pieces! That started yesterday. I got some walking in - and started to look at my husband's delay as a good thing.

Getting up now to clean, clean, clean!! Then, we have a soccer game this afternoon. Then when we get home I'm going to see if my neighbor wants to go take a walk.

On the bright note, I have gotten eating breakfast into my routine and will usually eat within 40 minutes of waking up. So it's baby steps....but I'm happy to at least be making that a habit. :-)
