Good morning everyone. I trust everyone had a terrific weekend. Mine was pretty good. Sunday was a struggle, pizza and cupcakes. But I managed to shake off the weekend weight with a loss. It wasn't as big as last weeks, but with eating some carbs this weekend, I am excited. This week is a short one, I have a vacation day on Friday, nothing fun but necessary to take it off. Well, work is calling. It is super busy with new people to train. Have a great day everyone and I will talk to you soon, Keep up the great work!!!

Hello everyone in FS land. Wow, one week in and it's been a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I am a big cookie junkie, that and bread. And for this whole week going without both...... I survived and I'm proud of myself. Eventually I will allow myself to enjoy good bread at a restaurant, or even a cookie for desert, but for now the process is to eliminate carbs as much as possible. I am sticking to 50-60g of carbs per day. I know there are carbs and net carbs, but I am looking at total carbs. So far I am "surviving", and I am glad to have a great support system. This weekend will be difficult. Another birthday party. But one day won't kill me as long as I get right back on track. I will also make the conscious effort to not overload on the carbs. Happy Monday everyone!!! Happy Monday sounds weird. I feel like I am the only one that isn't bothered by a Monday. This weekend was something of a success. Had a birthday party on Saturday, which wasn't too horrible, and Sunday was a great day to make sure I got back on track. So, it was a good weekend all around. Three days in and still going strong. I really want to have some cookies with my lunch right now, but I know that they will ruin what I am trying to do, so I will just take a rain check. I need to make sure that treats like that are saved for really special occasions. Well, have a great day everyone. I will be back again soon.
