I'm another 100 gr down today, which has me stoked, for now. Shark week is approaching & I can already feel the munchies starting to creep up on me. I have a plan of action though, so I will be staying on track & not reach for all the wrong stuff.
I'm planning another 36 hour fast as soon as shark week is done.
Happy 2's day everyone!

Sooo... It turns out I was retaining some water from my 36 hour fast. My weight is down by 800 gr this morning. I'm stoked. I've shifted my official weigh-in again back to Friday. I'm just going with the flow at the moment to understand my body better.

So... My 36 hour fast went well. I ended the fast at 33 hours though, because I don't want to eat later than 8:00 pm.
My weight is only 100 gr down from Friday morning's weight.
I know that doesn't sound like anything, I mean who would willingly not eat for 36 hours then only have a 100 gr loss, but this is good for 2 reasons:
No 1:
I was able to offset the millions of calories that I had consumed on Friday (went out to a restaurant with mother-in-law) & Saturday (had a braai because our best friend turned 37). This is a plus for me because if I had such a wild weekend, I don't ever show a loss by the next Friday.
No 2:
I had to prove to myself that I can do it. It is believed that fasting is a muscle that needs to be exercised & then you get better at it.
I'm glad I did it, & considering to do it again. Happy Tuesday everyone.
