Inspirational Food pictures!
I love seeing all the wonderful meals that people post. Some of you post how many calories which is great. I would love to know the recipes and wonder if these could be written alongside, so I can replicate. Unless of course they are squirrelled away under some other heading on this site. I am finding new things every time I log on!

My diet diet is working!
Hope you've had a good day. I am just getting used to finding my way around the site when I came across your comments. To stop temptation, I only shop once a week (online) which is just as well at the moment. I spend the week putting everything in my basket, loads of treats and things I shouldn't be eating (just to get the fix!!) then take all the 'rubbish' stuff out before final checkout. I try not buy things that I know I will pig out on. My downfall is I love to cook and bake and if I fancy something sweet I will knock up a batch of cakes or scones and me and hubby will demolish them before the end of the day. When I am 'on plan' I can be very focused. I have never engaged with others when trying to lose weight (not even at SW, I used to get weighed and then leave) I hope that by 'talking' to others might make me more accountable, as although we don't know each other, people can see your progress. I am doing the daily accountability challenge to keep me counting calories. Good Luck in your journey

My diet diet is working!
Good luck with your journey! What I've learnt over the years that if you are counting calories, it helps you to focus on what you eat to get the best rewards. 7lbs is a great start!

Whatever takes my fancy!
I am going to follow SW but calorie count instead of eating as much 'free food'as I want (as I find I just pig out on pasta) and some days I will have Slimfast milkshakes + evening meal using their recommended calorie intake of 1360 kcals. When 'on plan', I usually stick to the same types of foods, yoghurt, fruit, curry and 'roasts'
