Hi all, I noticed long-term friends have drifted off of here... the set-up of the site is NOT user friendly anymore - one possible reason so many have dropped off of here. Five, six years ago - dozens would be on here together conversing and that is long gone now. My weight is steady. I started lifting weights very little each day, but it is showing already with a flatter stomach. I went off Atkins. I was NOT losing. I am eating less calories now though so that is good. I need to move more - that is the true key to losing weight and also not to eat desserts.

Well, low carb did not work this time. I am not eating much. My metabolism is slowed down by meds. I am going walking more. I joined the gym, yet to go. I will get a treadmill when I move and that way in my basement I can walk three miles a day even in winter. I am moving October - November. An offer has been made, the condos are new. I am so lucky to get a decent place like this. My animals will have more room to run around. I have been off here for weeks. I have been busy, the key is to get on here daily for certain. Weight still 235. I need to get to 220 by October - that is a goal. I CAN do it.

Doing OK, on Atkins... stomach flatter... weight about stable but I know I will lose about 1 pound per week, and soon I need to get moving more.

I am doing well on low carb. I am losing around the waist most noticeably, the fat goes on the body with this diet before the weight does. I am doing well - writing going well and I will likely be going to the gym next week to swim at least. My blood sugar I know has run quite low at times as I feel weak a bit sometimes, especially if I go for a long walk. I hope everyone is doing well. I wish the site here was left like it was around 2008, it was more user friendly and fun too, numerous people would be interacting together and the site has moved away from that camaraderie - unfortunately - and then most left too for better diet sites in time.

This site has become LESS user friendly the past few years. Every single time they make a change it is not for the better. Years ago, one would go right on their diet site's page and see the posts, and many of one's friends would be on there with many discussions going on. Now that is all gone, and no one is even on here - buddies that is! The site should have been left alone. I am doing OK with the weight loss. I may go out today. Last night pizza but I did not eat the bread as I am doing low carb and it is likely I am allergic to wheat anyway.
