I had a productive weekend. Met all of my fitness and food goals, until I ate a brownie. But I'm okay with that! Also got all of my homework and housework done, and aced my exam. Amazed at the correlation between physical and mental health.

Alright, I am getting frustrated. I've been working out for a week and I have gained 6 lbs back. I have a significant calorie defecit. Depending on whether I am working or not it's between 500-1400/day defecit on a strict keto diet. What the hell is going on? 😡 I understand the muscle gain thing, but it shouldn't be THAT much.

I am weak and couldn't stay away from the scale. Up 2, but I don't even feel bad. I get to see my doctor finally today, and unload all of my fitness and mental health issues on her poor, unsuspecting soul 😅 I hope that she can give me some guidance and let me know if I'm doing anything right.
I got my Fitbit on Saturday and went all in with exercise on Fitbit Coach. If my tracker is accurate I burn 2500 average on weekends when I'm at home snuggling with my kiddo most of the time, and 3500 average week days when I'm working 8ish hours/day at a cafe. My goal has been 1867 calories/day but I have a hard time getting that many and it's usually about 1600 but my macros are spot on. I have been doing MIIT and some stair intervals for at least 30 min/day-yesterday was a rest and I needed to catch up on homework, and hope to keep doing it 6 days/week. I already feel stronger-even though I still can't do a full heckin pushup.

I decided to start exercising this weekend and I am going to stay away from the scale for a while. I want to lose weight but I also want to get strong and I don't want to get discouraged by inevitable muscle gain. I have been doing workouts on Fitbit Coach and I really enjoy them, but I'm super tired. I'm half tempted to start drinking energy drinks again but I'm trying to stay away from artificial sweeteners. If anyone has any tips/tricks to getting fit on keto I'd love to hear them!
