Weighing in a couple days short of a month since last weigh in, just case we are traveling. Just shy of 130's...YAY!
It has taken about 15 weeks to lose 37 pounds. Didn't think I could reach any type of goal, since I always fall off the wagon, roll down the hill and land in a big 'ol pile of "I'll always be fat" kind of excuses. Really don't know where the determination came from this time, but ever so grateful that it came along on the journey this time.
Workouts are primarily treadmill still as it has been 90° or more these last few days and my neighborhood is full of dogs that just love to test how fast I can run! Yoga and pilates are just once a week for now, and boxing drills have been scaled back since 5k circuit is set to start in 10 days.
Focus on dietary changes; no more nitrates or Splenda, back to kohlrabi, dandelion greens,spinach and salmon and just keeping it cleaner.

Final stretch...10.5# left to lose! Coming off at at snail's pace now. Going to switch things up a bit; more salmon, eggs, spinach/kale, Bulletproof coffee and bone broth.
Waking hours around 19-20, sleeping 4-5 hrs, running, gym, yoga and swimming 6 days a week. Energy level high, pain @ zero, BP 108/60.

Feeling Successful! Weigh in at gym and at doctor today; I am 147. I have reached and unspoken goal of a 30# loss reached within 2 months and 4 days. Have to adjust start weight since my entry was off from my medical chart. Only 12# from recommended goal weight.
While I wish I could journal daily;I read all these wonderful entries by others and tell myself that I will, but still have not. I will just note here that I have eaten clean since July 1st. Only one teeny cheat with pretzels on day 3 of the migraines a couple of weeks ago.
During these two months, I have learned that the most success came once I was diligent about keeping F60%, P30% and C10%. I continue to live Gluten Free and the debilitating pain in joints and muscles is gone.
The 5k season is soon upon me, so I am going to slowly ramp up the workouts. Currently I run 3.5 miles on treadmill (I am not native Texan-heat is unbearable), swim 30 laps and alternate pilates and yoga 6 days a week. Now that kids are back in school, going to add boxing at the gym.
Personal life note: I have finished decorating and organizing our home. Sat for a sec to appreciate the effort, and hubby called with news. We're relocating to Washington,D.C. at the end of the school year. Well, alrighty then! Excited, apprehensive and tired; life is crazy!
