Caffeine

Today is big day, I will be cutting waaaay back on caffeine in the hopes of quitting it altogether soon! I always brushed off the notion that caffeine makes you feel hungrier, but last night after I had a snack I felt satisfied, but after drinking a diet Mountain Dew I got really hungry and blew it for the rest of the evening. So...I'm gonna give it a try and see what happens. Today I am replacing my coffee with tea to try and avoid a headache and NO diet soda. I really hope it works!
I just made a post but wanted to wish you the best of luck on cutting back!

Caffeine
Hey everyone! I'm new to the site and found this topic pretty interesting. I've heard caffeine tends to make people hungrier but I've never actually had a problem with this. The problem I had with coffee is that I like lots of sugar and cream in mine, which adds extra calories into the day. I probably do need to cut back on my coffee intake, but until I actually do, I decided to start substituting sugar with sweet and low. I found a fat free/low cal creamer at the store to put in my coffee as well and it actually tastes great! The sweet and low took a little getting used to but that's how I have my coffee these days.
I also love diet sodas but haven't really ever felt that it made me hungrier. Again though, I still need to eventually cut back on the caffeine intake altogether. Coffee, sodas, and chocolate are my things...all of which have caffeine
