Well, as I predicted my weight dropped this morning. We have the old-fashioned balance beam scale. It dropped below the 196 mark--maybe 195.75 but I will just put it down 1/2 pound. Hurrah!
As my massage therapist says--human fat is fluffy fat. When you lose a pound it is not like losing a pound of butter. The fat we lose takes us more space. Isn't that grand? How exciting1

I weighed in at 196.5 lbs this morning. I just weighed--the scale tonight reads 197.25 lbs. That means I will most likely be down again in the morning. My weight loss tends to do a stair-step thing. I sit at a weight for a bit and then drop a few pounds. I cannot say for sure why it works this way, but it seems to be how my body responds.
Nonetheless, I cannot even remember when I weighed less than 200 lbs. My husband made the same comment (what I was thinking) at lunch today. I weigh at least twenty pounds less than him, and it has been very rare in our 50 years of marriage when I have been under his weight. It just makes me smile.
I continue to do the Keto Lifestyle. People don't always understand. They try to do a lot of nice things for me--I feel bad when I cannot eat what they think is healthy. Regardless, I stick with the program. My health is improving. I am considering a fast--I think it might help my body heal a bit faster than the snail's pace approach. (Haha) I am so happy though to be alive and healing. I cannot begin to tell you how sick the medications were making me. I am only eating the Keto way and taking a few supplements.

Nothing much happening. I am hovering slightly under the 200 mark. One day I dropped a bit, but the next I was a little above the last recorded weight. One day at a time--
