I am slowly bouncing back!! And after comparing notes with my sister, I bought a infinity hoop wanna be. I have to be careful with my workouts, which has been proving to be a headache!! (both in the literal and physical sense of the word) But I am excited for my new "toy". Its all bringing me back to my childhood. Hoola hoops.. that lemon or cherry skipping thing that swung around your ankle.. jump rope was my true jam as a young girl.. but I just can't go there yet! HAHa But at any rate, I think I found something that will work, will be fun, and probably make me feel like I worked out while having fun reliving my youth. COME ON PRIME TRUCK, I'M WAITING!!

So lately, my body has had a mind of its own. Out of no where I woke up full on bloated with no reason for it. I feel like all my hard work has been laughed at by menopause. When I was younger, people said "she's going through the change" and left out a bunch of subtitles, subtexts, and load of descriptive words!! I am trying not to let it get the best of me. But the dangers of having food as your comfort for so long, is trying to keep on track without grabbing the keys and poppin down to the nearest snack shelf. I have been trying to keep my fingers busy with crochet projects and getting my craft/library room organized just to keep hold onto my joy. But all of this is really testing me. It's not the first time I have had this happen, but maybe it's the first time I've journaled about it. I guess you can say I am trying to use my healthy outlets where I am with friends as other places will just smack you with judgement from all walks of life and sizes and metabolism. I haven't stepped onto a scale in several days, cause I just can't handle any more disappointment.

so, today I am working around stuff to get my urvio walking pad set up, and then protected from my cat. We don't have anywhere I can slide this tread mill to keep him away.. but I am really excited to try walking on it while wearing my new hike shoes.. I have finally found shoes that feel like my body is realigning itself to. Plus they make walking so much easier and enjoyable. Very excited to see my work outs add to my eating habit. Its all a journey right?? I haven't stepped on a scale yet today. I try not to every day cause it makes me crazy (to be honest). I'm hoping for a good week.. for me and everyone else
