I found relief from stretch mark itchiness!
A year ago I bought plant Therapy's silky soft essential blend for my kids eczema when they have it. I mixed that with some coconut oil and applied it after an epsom salt bath. The itchiness is much more controlled in tiny areas on my hips, occasionally in the belly area. But it is easy to ignore. Thank God! Seriously thought I was going to lose my mind.
I have tried to up my carbs and protein a bit (I know I'm not journaling food, but it is such a pain to enter in whole recipes and have to break it down or change it if I make substitutions, eat more or less) because I'm getting full very easily, I have no desire for breakfast, bullet proof coffee after I've been awake a couple hours keeps me satisfied, if I eat eggs or solids I feel nauseous. Fasting once a week to keep myself in check. Im staying away from "treats" for now since those can trigger cravings. I'm not sure I really want to delve into fake sugar. Berries and heavy cream have been my luxury a couple times a week that is hard to overeat.
My husband has joined me in this journey, which is really nice. I keep him under 50 carbs since he has a very physically active job and he wouldn't stay at it if it were to strict. 😉 He's a full time student studying IT as well as a full time floor installer. It would bode ill for him to eat the way he did and move from a super physical job to a desk job. In January, he gave up gluten and lost 40 pounds just doing that, I gave it up a couple years ago to help my thyroid issues. Whenever I try to eat it, it comes right back up. Most unpleasant, but saves me from more unpleasant gastrointestinal problems later.

Super busy weekend and just didn't have time to record food.
I am also so itchy in stretch mark areas! Before it was my abdomen, thighs and hips, now it's my under upper arms. I just feel crazy with it after 3 1/2 weeks. Saturday, I cut my fingernails super short to make me "work" to actually scratch so I realize what I'm doing. It helps some, I've read so many possibilities- histamine, losing weight too fast, fat releasing toxins, hormone imbalance.... I'm sure there's more. I'm so allergic to so much stuff, the things i have tried I can't tell if they've been more irritating or helpful.
Oh well, the goal is to get healthy, somehow with Christ's help, I will persevere through this.
