I have not given up, just had an extremely busy past few months.
Obviously, I’ve gained 5 lbs. I have been beyond exhausted at several points and just ate gluten free at times instead of sticking with keto. That didn’t help my exhaustion at all. I’ve been doing under 50 g carbs over the holidays to just maintain and will be back to 30 and under after.

A lot of situations going on... major ones are my 7 year old son hospitalized at a psych ward for children for severe aggression (they’re all diagnosing him with high functioning autism, though we need a neuropsych evaluation to officially diagnose) and my husband is donating his kidney in a couple weeks. I’m definitely not in keto, just doing low carb and getting through all this. I am officially the lowest weight I’ve been in 23 years.
Prayers appreciated for the rest.

I’ve been overrun with stress and appointments the past 2 weeks. Still sitting at the same weight, but I’m still here. 😉

In this journey over the last 10 months and looking over my numbers, I’ve come to realize that my body hits plateaus before continuing. Anywhere from a month to two. I’m grateful that I’m so happy eating this way (not that I have a lot of choice, eating bad for me foods makes me terribly sick), so I haven’t been discouraged when I keep fluctuating 4-5 pounds for weeks. Anyway, my encouragement is to keep it up!
