So, it's been quite a while. Christmas was a time full of alcohol and sugar with family visiting. End of December my hubby and I decided to go back on Jenny Craig - as we had before we got married. It's not an amusing 1200 calories a day, but if you can stand it, it does work.
I got up to a max of 190!!! and now am down 8 pounds. Hubby has lost 27 pounds! Water and also eating several times a day instead of once. As well as limited portions (only 1700 cals, rather than limitless).
He has reduced his high blood pressure and I am hoping to avoid the family tendency to diabetes. So, it is a good trend and a good cause.

Back on the wagon for Halloween. One terrible photo that seemed to have a fish eye lens was enough to motivate me to go back to the gym at lunch times... I guess I just also need more discipline and more exercise.

Ate freely on vacation, but also was doing lots of walking around - much more active lifestyle away from work. So today, back to work, back to the standing desk and the tuna. I thought I would be heavier than my last weigh in. However, I didn't like my arms and chins in some of the vacation pictures, so I am feeling motivated to eat better.

What can I say, it has been a difficult month. And when times are tough, often the chocolate gets me through. But now we are about to go on holiday, so I will be doing a lot more excercise, walking around. I have been going to the gym and working out on Saturday mornings while my son does his swimming lesson. I can tell that my heart rate is lower than it was when I started, so my cardio is improving. Not sure if my shape is changing. Today is a new day.
