NSV today: back into my size 16 jeans! YAY. Decided to update my profile pic to the AI avatar my kiddo helped me make from a photo of me. So yes wifey, this is me. 😁😁😁

LOL I love this joke.
Well thanks to my pharmacist and a little bottle called Lax A Day, the blockage has moved on. Not something I like doing, would rather have my own system doing the work rather than a medicine, but at the rate I was going (or not in this case), I was going to end up in the ER like a friend of mine used to. Poor thing used to have to have surgery in order to empty her bowels. Thanks, no thanks.
Now that the UTI is gone, the antibiotics are finished, the constipation has moved on, it's back to the daily grind. BE THE TURTLE!
Happy Wednesday, FS family.

Thirty years later, I'm 60lbs lighter and was actually surprised it wasn't a lot more loose. While the top is definitely baggy on me, it's hard to tell that the waistline and below are also less "fitting". I remember thinking at the time, "please let me fit in this" as it was the largest the store carried, and it was TIGHT!
Pardon the wrinkles on it, as it hasn't seen the light of day in 30 years. (and no wifey, I'm not showing my face, lol)

As expected, a bit of a rise, primarily due to constipation from the antibiotics and the stress from the infection. No big deal.
Have a great Wednesday, FS family.

Got through Hurricane Lee yesterday. Wind gusts were recorded by us at 117km/h (that's 72.7mph). My German shepherd is no longer on high alert, in fact, I think this is the first sleep he's had in 36 hours.
Let me tell you this, having no power for over 12+ hours AND having a UTI is no flipping fun! We have generators (yes, several), but their priorities are sump pump, freezers, fridge, heat (in the winter) and water. But I still don't like consuming the power on toilets if we can avoid it. The less consumption, the longer they last. And trust me, after Hurricane Juan, you LEARN to conserve!!!
Thankfully I saw my doctor on Friday, and got on antibiotics BEFORE the weekend. The pain and urgency has lessened, but the need to have food with the pills, twice a day, is buggering me up. I only eat lunch (noon) and dinner (5pm). The pills *should* be taken at least 10 hours apart. UGH. So it's a bite of cheese, or handful of nuts in order to take these HORSE PILLS! But even with it only being a small bite, my body is setting off around 2-3pm, HEY I'm hungry! The [blank] you are, shut up and wait for dinner. OY!
Oh, the other thing you can't do during a hurricane? Use your powered treadmill! Nor can you walk a mall. And walk in our forest? I don't think so. So yesterday, my "exercise" was keeping an eye on the generators, making sure there were no leaks in the roof and tripping over 120lb dog all the while.
I'm expecting, due to the UTI, the concern over the hurricane, and other stress issues, this week's weight will be up. But that's not until Wednesday, so here's to the next few days.
Happy Sunday, FS family.
ps.. hi if you're still reading this, I'm sorry for being long winded, blame the hurricane ;)
