Just a girl trying to find some balance! If I could keep the protein up and the carbs to a reasonable amount I'd be happy!

Has anyone sustained thier weight loss success?
Hi CrazyCatMama,
Thank you for your response! It sounds like you maintained your weight loss as long as you kept up the lifestyle changes that got you there like working out, but when that slipped it all started to change. Thanks again for sharing.

Has anyone sustained thier weight loss success?
Thank you, -Diablo! I am going to be doing a podcast about some of the more ridiculous claims from the Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size folks. Your story helps me have more ammo. Some things about their approach are good but many of their claims are simply wrong such as that the accumulation of body fat doesn't cause health problems.

Has anyone sustained thier weight loss success?
I'm just curious, since the literature on intuitive eating states that chronic dieting leads to more weight gain over time, has anyone on here lost a significant amount of weight and kept it off over time, say several years?
Thanks for any responses!

I love night munching
Hi Shhh,
I have a tendency to snack at night as well but I've found that if I eat dinner when I am truly hungry not just when it is convenient that really helps. Like hummingbird5 said it is also important to get enough protein which helps you stay satisfied longer. Finally I couldn't help but see that one day you only ate about 300 something calories and worked out. Doing things like that will slow down your metabolism. Make sure you are eatin enough. If you restrict calories too much you set yourself up for a binge. Good luck!
