Schizophrenic day yesterday: Breakfast and lunch were fine. For dinner I ate a whole 12" cheese pizza and 32 oz. of Coke. In response to my wayward behavior I walked three extra times, 0.6 miles each. (I usually walked the distance five times a day.) That got me to nearly 10,000 steps for the day (9806), without any physical pain, a definite plus.
The extra walking w/o symptoms shows me my knees can handle the "torture."

One's weight and its changes are strange things. Yesterday my weight went up just 0.2 lbs. after a mini-binge the evening before. This morning I weighed another 0.2 lbs. more after 24-hours of toeing the line—calorie intake less than a hundred calories over my goal. Same water intake and exercise both days. Perhaps it's a bodily adjustment to the large weight losses recorded the previous couple of days of more than 3 lbs.
I could easily say $*#& it and binge all day in frustration, but I won't. My body will do what it does, and be how it is, and I will stick with the plan.
