Hi All
I'm Amanda from Toronto.
I've decided to lose weight for a bunch of reasons. Some are vanity and some are for my long term health.
I have serious hurdles to overcome.
I'm an emotional eater.
I eat when I'm stressed, frustrated, happy, tired, bored...
I mostly love to eat when the kids have gone to bed and its quiet in the house.
And of course, I love to eat all the stuff you shouldn't.. and with 2 young kids in the house, having access to nutella and PB&J and all kinds of other goodies makes it too easy for me to stop myself.
I also love red meat, rice, pasta and red wine.
I'm putting all of this here to hold myself accountable to all of you.
I've been on a diet for a month now, but I just found this site by chance and signed up. since I started my diet, I've lost 2 lbs. However, I noticed that I started to creep back up, so I don't trust myself to stick to the honour system anymore...
Having everything laid out in the format provided exposes me to myself - and all of you... No more hiding.
I'm not very active beyond housework and chasing the 2 kids, plus my job. I am hoping that diet changes will be the larger part of my weight loss plan (but not the only thing I'm relying on). I need to make a fitness plan, but I haven't got there yet.
Anyway, sorry for the novel.
Look forward to chatting with some of you in the future...

Starting Weight 157lb
Gonna get down to 125.
I still look like I'm pregnant.. My youngest is 3 years old!
Enough is enough.
