Not only did I have Labour Day off, I had an extra couple of days as well. However, days off with no structured plans lead to overindulgence. There was popcorn, ice cream and Game of Thrones with very little exercise...
And now, TIFF is starting, and I'm going to be working quite a few screenings. In fact, I will be working eleven days straight with no break.
Let's see what's better - too much time off or not enough...*sigh*...

I feel like I'm getting myself back on track this week. It's tough going though.
I've noticed that I tend to go overboard with my eating on Sundays and Mondays. These are usually my date nights with the boyfriend. We either go out to a movie or dinner. Sometimes we'll go out both days. And we always get movie treats - popcorn, gummi candy and a drink. We've realized this is probably not the best idea for either of us, since he's trying to lose weight too.
So we've decided we can only pick one of those days to go out. If we go to the movies on Sunday night, we don't get to indulge on Monday, and vice versa. Let's see if this new plan of action yields new results!

Today the weather rather matches my mood somewhat - dreary, bleak and damp.
Haven't been feeling too good about myself this past week...need to shake myself out of this funk...
Ah well...a dinner date with the boyfriend on Sunday night should help a little...

This hasn't been a good week for me...
I mean, I've been exercising, but not as much as I was previously.
I think the secret to losing these last 25-30 lbs is going to be in what I'm eating, rather than what I'm doing.
So I need to figure out my calorie intake and watch my portions very carefully...
