I did a 5K today--managed to run/walk it (I made it in about 32 1/2 minutes), which I was somewhat proud of. My weight was up at WW, which really irritated the heck out of me. Must still be the IV's, etc from the surgery. However, I ate waaaaaaaaay too many tortilla chips and guacamole tonight...took care of that extra calorie burn, right there, and did not help my salt issue.There's always the nect meal to improve, I guess.

People, I am going to die tomorrow. I'm having a little outpatient surgery in the afternoon--no big deal--BUT--I can't eat after midnight! the surgery is at 2:30 PM! Not even hard candy, gum, or a sip of water! yikes...it's worse than the surgery!

Ate pretty light yesterday--was not feeling well. The result was a nice loss. I hope to maintain it!

I wish that my eating was as under control as my exercise program. I feel really good about the routine that I have established and enjoy the gym so much. Very peaceful, no one really making demands of me--a switch from the rest of my life. I don't mind the 4:30 AM wakeup nearly as much anymore...the routine is soothing.
Evening is tough. I just want to eat as soon as the evening meal has worn off, I want munchies...not veggies or healthy stuff! CARBS!!! Toast! Cookies! Cheese-its! I'm working on getting this under wraps. I think I will struggle with this eternally.

The 4.8 pound loss last week bit me back, and I was up one this week!
