RiverRes's Journal, 24 July 2017

Re-booting is slow. It is so much easier to just keep going. No weight lost l;ast week, but I am happy that I worked out as much as I did. My knee is protesting and retaining water. I am working to get that swelling down and will be very good about working out this week. There are plenty of other areas to work on and light cardio will still get results.

After all the work stress I endured in May and June, I decided to apply for a different position in another department at my company. I guess I am hoping to reboot there as well! My interview is today and I am dressed to the nines. It is scaring my management team, but I don't really care. I need to balance my life and my work and this is my opportunity. I have been "placed" into new roles and positions for the past 5 years; this is the first time I may actually have a say in what my career path might be. I hope that my interview goes well and that I have the opportunity to take a "hard right" from my existing career path.

Have a great week everyone!

All the best in both reboots! And I hope you have some joy today, among all the seriousness of interviewing.

I am right there with you. Work has been more stress this past 5 months than I have seen in 11 years. I totally stressed ate and the scale shows it.
