Rough week for me. The sale of my house fell through when the buyer's lender pulled the plug on their financing. I am lucky, though. My seller is willing to wait. As long as it is not too long. This has pushed back closing on at least 3 properties and I am just praying that people are patient. Otherwise, I will have to start all over again.

My eating has been off lately. I have been hungrier and it has been harder to say no or tell myself that I am already full. My caloric intake for August was higher than any previous month and my weight loss (or lack thereof) has definitely been affected. I have been asking myself if it is just because I have been less busy. More time to focus on what I can't have is not helpful.

This has all resulted in me not meeting my goal for Labor Day. I am sad, but know that I will acjheive it - it will just be a couple of weeks later than I planned. I need to find a way to re-focus and re-engage.

It will be so nice to get this house sale stuff done. That will go a long way.

Real estate dealings can be so troubling as so much is out of your control. One feels like they just have to cross their fingers and hope for the best. When we were going through the stress of selling/renting back/buying houses a few years ago, I just kept telling myself, "Everything will work out eventually." Hang in there. Take care of yourself along the way.

It does sound nerve-wracking! No wonder you've been eating more! I hope it all works out as you have planned. Then you'll be able to focus on your health without all the stress.
