I know you don't want to hear this but dropping your calories so low eventually your body gets used to it and will stop loosing weight because it's like oh crap there is a famine we need to conserve energy. There are a lot of tdee (total daily energy expenditure) calculators online. Find out how many calories you should be eating based on your situation and some give weight gain and weight loss amounts. I would start with eating the right amount of calories keto or whatever diet plan you decide to go with for a month or two. Yes you will possibly gain some weight in the beginning, because you have been starving your body and at first you will have more mass in your digestive system and your body will be like woohoo food store it, until it realizes famine is over and chills out. Then if you don't start loosing weight reduce your calories 100 or so until you start loosing weight. Also eating more food your body has to work at digesting and if your doing keto it may be hard to get that many calories in, but getting close everyday you may find your bodies happy area where it will loose fat and conserve lean muscle (this includes the muscle around your heart and organs).

I know you said your doctor said they are all happy about the diet and I'm not sure what all you told them or they told you. But year or two ago I had a gall bladder attack ended up that I had gallstones, so first thing they do is send me to a surgeon. The surgeon takes one look at me and assumes that I have had a bad diet and eat fried food all the time and that's why I am fat refuses to do surgery on me sends me to a biatric surgeon. I attempted to explain how I had been eating at that time I was doing 40/30/30 which was working. He tells me my fat should be 0% and only to eat what I can fit in my cupped hand 3 times a day. I was like wait everything even veggies have traces of fat and I also knew that 3 handfulls of veg at as close to 0% fat would be less than 100 calories a day. I was afraid to eat at all at that point. I called my family doctor who was unusually busy and it would be a month to see her. I got a nurse who couldn't get what I was telling her and she at the end was like I will contact the surgeon and see what they say *face palm* I want to talk to my doctor omg!! Needless to say I went to the bariatric surgeon and I had lost weight by then, because I wasn't eating anything. He was like well you don't need gallbladder surgery you need weight loss surgery and that it's the same risk.. I'm like no.. He kept on.. I finally got out of there and called my regular doctor and made an appointment with her a month later I finally saw her. She was like Oh My Gawd!!!! No no no not eating isn't good you were doing good on what you were on. Since it had been such a long time since it had flared up she was like go back to eating and I am going to give you medicine to increase the bile liquidness and amount. (Same thing eating a lot of fat does) and had an appointment in a month. After researching I found that keto similar to the meds she prescribed and started. Next appointment she was like cool glad you found an alternative way to meds seems to be working your loosing weight keep it up.

Thank you Michelle, I love getting advice, its helpful. Do you think i need to grt my fat % down? Lord what I eat is lean and lot veggies. Gove me some examples of what you eat and I will work on increasing my calories. I feel good, ai eat alot of steam veggies baked fish, baked chicken breast baked turkey breast , , and grilled or baked lean pork chops, turkey burger, pork ribs, broccoli steam, side salad will practically every meal i love my salads. If i eat a meat and side of broccoli my sald will be size of a teacup, if im only eating a meat I eat a ceral bowl size of salad. My salad is spring mix, romaime lettuce, cucumber cauliflower cheese, sometimes i will add a boil egg in my salad. My dr said i was doing good, I told her I was staying under 1000 cals mostly 600-700 she said be sure to keep hydrated and said try drinking cucumber water which I have not tried yet. Lord I dont want gallbladder problems. Can you help me pick healthy choices or give me samples. 🤗 Thank you so much

When you eat regularly your energy is coming from carbs, but on keto your energy is coming from fat. You only need like about .6-.8grams of protein per lb of lean body mass (lean body mass is your bones and muscle... I Google's my weight and found a lady about my size and weight who had had a dexiscan who had 170lbs of lean mass so that's what I used lol there are charts that show round about what your lean mass should be) then you have 20g carbs... All of the other grams would be fat.. It will be 60-80% fat... Now as calories reduce the fat reduces, because the carbs and protein don't really change. As your reducing that fat coming from food your body will be like hmm well I have this fat over here in this cell I will use that. Now it fills that cell with water til it hits that point of being empty and not needing it and then you will get a day when you pee like crazy called a whoosh day.

Some things I eat... Browned hamburger not drained with southwest mrs dash and some garlic (has some carbs so I watch it) with pepper Jack cheese or Cheddar and sour cream..( Now I prefer a leaner hamburger, because they taste like meat. If your getting your meat from a butcher of more trusted source than Walmart you might not have to worry about this)... Could add some lettuce/kale/spinach to add veg. I do something similar with chicken ..shred it into a bowl add some butter sometimes some ranch dressing or I get the powder ranch use that or have made ranch dip and use some of that.. Then some Hormel real Bacon and cheese. Quick easy grab and go is cheese stick and summer sausage or geona sausage...

So anywhere from 65-85g of protein a day would be around where it should be. Yes on keto the fats are high and they should be because that's where your body is getting the energy from instead of your body freaking out and doing this drama queen act of conserving all the energy. You basically want your body to be cool with using fat and get really good at burning a lot of it efficiently, so when you cut calories just a little it starts burning your body's fat instead of trying to conserve.
