I swear I posted my gym stuff yesterday but it disappeared.. basically a rough day according to the owners it will be busy like this for the next few months spring/summer sports are in and people want to loose weight for that bikini. Had more new people 2 women who just did cardio for an hour so tied up the machines I use the whole time... there a dad/coach with a teenager who snapped his gum and texted while looking at you with hateful judgy eyes, and a whole family that came in with a 6 and 8 year old that ran amuk I got ran into because they were running around using equipment all Willy Nilly and just being loud kids, the dad was like a mushroom he would get attached to a peice of equipment and wouldn't move for a half hour and every once and awhile would do a Rep, the mom had apologetic eyes, but I finally had enough and left. The regulars were pissed one of them ripped off his gloves and sat them on a bench and went and got water his water and left. Never seen him do that before. Since there was no cardio equipment available I did the leg press at 200lbs 50 reps and calves 50 to warm up then did leg press and calves 15 reps/320lbs. Then did two rounds of lat pull down 15/80lbs, seated row 15/70lbs, butterfly 15/ #5, chest press 15/90lbs, shoulder press 3/50 and 10/20, leg curls 20/50. Then did leg abductions 50/130 while waiting on the leg press. Then two rounds leg press 20 Rep/320 and calves 20/320 as I was trying to wait for the leg curl to do leg extensions but the dad had mushroomed himself to it, so I left instead. No cardio, but I kept my heart rate in fat burning zone the whole time I was at the gym. Yesterday I had a total of 1hr and 49 min in the fat burning zone. I started wearing my fit bit again to help me get some more insight. I have lost 8.25 inches or my measurements were off not sure. What I do know is that I can see the muscles in my thighs move which wasn't quite as prevalent.
379.8 lb Lost so far: 77.2 lb.    Still to go: 29.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I haaaate when that happens 😑🤦🏻‍♂️ oldies using the equipment, usually just sitting there and talking and doing one rep then just people watching... or falling asleep. while I’m waiting for them to gtfo for 40 mins ugh. It’s Like why are they even here?? lol I feel your pain!

Sad thing was he was my age, just obviously didn't want to be there. In my head I was like omg go take the kids to Burger king to play on the playground while mom goes to the gym and give her a fighting chance.

Yeah. Ignore the rude people. 💁🏻‍♀️You might tell him that his kids would have more fun at a MacDonald’s or Burger King playland or a park that was more appropriate to their age and skill set. Or suggest to the owner or manager that he recommend that since he is pissing off his customers. 🤷🏻‍♀️I’m considered kind of a nosy person though, but most people, even if they get ticked, listen and hear what you say and then you’ve had your say. And it’s not like they are gonna beat you up for telling them how rude they are being to other paying customers. LOL 🙋🏻

I spoke to one of the new ladies who was there when the family was in. She had spoken to the guy who threw his workout gloves and he had been super pissed because it's rediculious that the kids we're in running around. The lady was even like why and she laughed and loved my Burger king idea for the kids and dad to go play. She was like for goodness sakes the man didn't even have workout clothes on or shoes... Which I wasn't as concerned about that.

It is always a pain when people who do not understand gym etiquette show up. I think it is the same everywhere. I go to a small gym in a small town but all of the gym idiot types are represented there. I have tried discussion but that did not have much success so I just go at my workout; but it does take the edge off. Those are good weights you are pushing so kudos to you. It feels good to move into the heavier weights and can become a bit addictive. I try to resist but always slip back into old habits and edge the weights up and drop my reps back to 10 to 15. Keep at it Michelle

Sorry to hear that you had a bad time at the gym. It's exciting though to see muscles moving around! Good for you, you're working quite hard!
