Thanks! Yeah, that was a nice surprise this morning. I had some Lily's sugar free chocolate before bed and was afraid to step on the scale this morning, but glad I did!

I just read your bio. How old are your kiddos? Im with you on the lack of sleep at times.

I have one that's 13, one 10 and a little tiny guy with special needs who is 8 but wears a size 4. 🙃. He is the one who wakes me the most often. But my 13 year old has her fair share of sleep disturbances. She inherited the family curse from me: migraines that don't go away for days.

Awe poor mom! I never realized how physically painful lack of sleep could be until I started having kids. Have you looked into the daith piercing for migraines? I read an interesting article about it awhile back.

Bluecoaster, did you know migraines often stem from digestion issues? Do you or your daughter notice any digestive problems? If you go to YouTube and search "Dr. Eric Berg migraines" he has a few videos about it. Maybe you'll find something that will help.

I don't have digestion issues unless I am experiencing a migraine. The digestive issues occur AFTER the migraines begin. Once the migraine reaches a certain intensity, my digestive system completely shuts down. I try to drink fluids but they just inflate my belly and don't move. Medicine also just sits. The neurologist explains that the inflammation in my head is putting pressure on the area of the brain that controls digestion. When the inflammation quiets down a bit, I can sometimes eat something and my stomach starts functioning again. Digestion issues never precede a migraine though.
