59Carol's Journal, 06 April 2024

It is good to see a loss this week. It was quite a range in weight this week - I was as low as 205.0 and as high as 208.2. The average for the week was 206.4. Generally the week had a lot of hills and valleys as far as weigh in went.

Calorie wise it looks like I was about 15 calories per day higher than my preference. Truly not bad. The result feels 'right' as to how many calories and the loss. My eating was fairly consistent from one day to the next in that I wasn't eating in highs and lows. Just generally eating on the high end of my 'window'.

This week was a week of wrapping up big projects.

I had an auction house come pick up the last of my father in law's belongings on Tuesday. I figure we had sold somewhere between 80% to 90% of his stuff ahead of time. What was left had to be tetras-ed into a 24 foot trailer! That is a lot of stuff! I was so glad to see that truck and trailer drive away! It is all gone!! Beyond exciting as it has been a one year job. I had an appraiser in yesterday. Getting ready to have the house put onto the market.

The Women's Shelter job is also coming to a close. We are accepting women and families as of this past Thursday. I stopped in to sign checks (over $60 000 worth!!) While I was there I took a tour of the place. It looks wonderful. Next Tuesday I will be presenting to the Rotary Club on the project and the Shelter in general. Then it will be finalizing the finances, a round of thank yous to the local municipalities and that will be it!

Tomorrow my granddaughter turns 19. I will drive to Grande Prairie (2.5 hour) and have lunch with her. Maybe my sister and daughter will come with. My grandson is likely coming too.
