59Carol's Journal, 10 November 2023

I am checking in early. I am on my way to Edmonton this morning. I am down 0.2 pound this morning. I have ranged upward to 1.8 pounds and this morning is the lowest weight this week. I had one very high calorie day and the rest have been on the top end of my 'zone'.

There is definitely going to be some challenges ahead. It is a girls weekend with a dinner theatre and a special brunch planned. My daughter, sister, granddaughter and I are doing a fun-filled weekend including the above plus an Art Battle (never seen this before however one of the participants is a girl we know) and an Escape Room. We have a large Air BnB that will hold the entire group.

I foresee that eating is going to be hard to plan for and may have difficult choices where either there are no real good choices or I don't want to make a particularly good choice! We'll see. My strategy is to eat wisely as much of the day as possible and then relax a bit if there are special things on offer. Likely will be clocking in a gain next week. I will be working to keep the gain modest.

Last weekend I had a girlfriend come stay while her daughter was visiting my daughter and another childhood friend. Pat and I got to do yoga lead by my sister, went out for lunch, toured the Art Hub, worked at my father in law's and then spent a couple of hours at my daughter's place visiting with the girls. It was nice. I have attended to personal care this week - feet and leg massage (painful but effective), haircut, and electrolysis. I went swimming one morning and met my daughter for breakfast afterwards. I subbed one afternoon. And spent two days at my father in law's.
191.0 lb Lost so far: 77.5 lb.    Still to go: 21.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
