I am pedaling backwards. But on the bright side, I have started a weightlifting program and I am keeping up with the challenge (thank goodness) of walking 5 miles/week. I just have a suspicion the challenge will be edged up a bit next week. And, let's face it, we can handle it, right?! Sugar is the root of the evil in my struggle. I know it. I just need to face it head on. Actually I need to conquer it. I know if I give it up for just a week I won't miss it any more. It will be like soda pop when I gave it up. Okay, pick a day, any day, and GIVE IT UP!
151.0 lb Lost so far: 24.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.5 lb a week

A friend of mine asked me to join her and her trainer for weightlifting. I am not sure if it qualifies for "heavy lifting" but it is way easier lifting with machines and someone with an crooked (evil?) smile making me keep going! Also my muscles are sore for the pain-gain thing. Thank you for the encouragement and the note regarding protein. Sometimes I forget!
