Workout 3 is in the books!!! Just got home at 10:45. Went by the gym after work and there was no where to park. So went back after I got the kid in bed (no worries munchkin was supervised by my mom while I was gone lol). I also found out 9:30-10 is when it becomes the teen hangout place. Mind you they were all being well behaved, but learning the gym...................anyway................ I changed my grip on the tricep pull downs and much better. If I hold the rope instead of the balls my forearms don't burn at the end. And I figured out how to pull the bench press out further... Only problem now my butt hangs off so when I get up I am falling out of the machine lol I really hope no one reviews the security camera lol cause that would be embarrassing... I literally looked like a wet noodle and slid right to the floor *face palm* only me... Only me... Second exit was more smooth, but I also had an audience of 10 teens so took my time trying to wiggle at least a partial cheek up on the mat before my grand exit. I also tried the elliptical... That's weird.. I feel like something is off is it me and my steps.. I don't know.. I increased the grade and that felt more natural to me but still clunky. I also did the bike.. So all together a bit over 10 minutes of end cardio I feel like I cheated by not doing the tree but they were occupied. So in played instead lol Thursday I will have to get some tips on the elliptical.

Ohmygollygosh you amaze me your attitude is super don't ever lose that. The elliptical takes getting into a rythmn I havent got there yet lol i watch when doing other machines they mske it look so easy. How about the stairclimber that scares the #^+* out of me. As for people watching they don't at my gym (hahaha I said my gym) I'd rather they watch me trying than eating a donut lol I'm so proud of you Sweetie!

I felt like the elliptical stopped in a strange spot so if I wanted to keep a smooth rythm that I needed to keep my knees bent all the time.... That can't be right.. If not then I knock kneed on my right leg and it was super jerky... Probably a trick to it like the leg press had

I did the elliptical. Once. I never got used to the feel; I probably gave up too soon. A couple of the girls at the Y absolutely kill it, but most take it relatively slow. Guys seem to stick to the treadmills or stairs. I'm thrilled that you are pursuing the weight training, Michelle! And you are doing so well!

Tom- I always wanted to do weight training and have for years.. Now I'm like oh this is easier and I'm not sore as I thought I would be.. Hmmm

Having fun doing it that's the way to experience it my gym star, your learning the ropes and not holding the balls..wait that didn't come out right.hahaha your doing right getting the feel for all the equipment.Carry on my w/o wonder.

Patty- I have gotten weak.. I used to be able to to pick up 2 crates of milk(approx 70lbs) in one hand and lift them so we could rotate coolers when I was a teen.

Tom- Nooooo silly... But I worked in a gas station as a teen and rotating stock and reaching stuff pulled back behind other crates was an every day event... And when your past time you should have been there you pull out extreme bouts of strength to get the heck out of there lol.. There was a reason I had the nickname animal on my softball team in HS lol
