Woohoo day one in the books. The personal trainer changed her mind and had me do a full body work out. Tonight she just wanted to get an idea of where I was at. When the weights I could lift kept getting higher she was like uhm we are going to leave it here. Because she was afraid that I would be sore. I had the same problem that I did the last time I tried a treadmill that the balls of my feet get blisters grrr. But we talked about this and she said that there are alternative cardio machines, so next time we will try those.

Lol thank you Patty Even better.. I am not sore this morning... Only problem.. I got a blister on my right foot from the triedmill, but it's only on one foot and much smaller than the blisters I got last time I attempted to get on a treadmill at my work!!!

Great way to start, full body w/o for our full body girl. Maybe invest in good w/o foot wear with comfortable cushions for your 3mile runs. Looking at your w/o plan, nice all around targets. l'm so excited for you. hahaha Gym Stories to come. No turning back now, our girl is working it. hahaha..keep us in the loop...from your biggest admirer!😁

Murf - those aren't targets.. That was work done last night we both had troubles remembering what number I was on so ended up doing more reps than listed lol. She says we can work up to 3 rounds of this with after a warm up of 5-10 min cardio and band work then 10-30 minutes on treadmill increasing the incline or some other cardio equipment. I think tomorrow I am going to see where I really can personally go on each of these to make the target of 15 reps on each. Then see if I can go back around and do it again. Bwahahaha Only thing I am going to have to find some stretches, because she didn't do any stretch work which I thought was strange.

Already our girl talking like an old hand at this.What l meant by targets is that she has you doing the whole gauntlet of excersizing, hitting all muscle groups to start. Don't worry about the stretching you can do that on your own time. Patty, has a good pt. make sure you have all your measurements taking and important, important ask if they have a Tanita this is a way to ck your fat% etc. very good way to monthly measure what's going on inside you and like Patty says get your body measurements taken""important"" This and a new woe is the best thing going for you know.We are your fan club.😀

Patty.. No she didn't.. She didn't even have me step on the scale just asked me how much I weigh lol.. Bit sketchy perhaps but I just wanted to know how to use the equipment

I doubt this place would have any tech like a Tanita (I had to look it up) the scale I saw looked like something from the 70's lol. Since it's a small gym things are tight, but workable. Nice selection of equipment from what I can tell. I do not know what all of them are called. And if I took a picture in am sure it would look like a sea of metal bars lol. The leg press I don't think I liked. The bench moves instead of the foot platform. So your taking the weight in your shoulders, so I will Max out on weight due to shoulder stress than legs lifting enough

Michelle WOE is Way Of Eating, rather than using the word diet. Michelle ask questions and get pictures and measurements, this way you have bragging rights lol. I don't really use a scale I prefer the physical changes that are so obvious. It takes your body a while to adjust even after you lose weight so by having these measurements pictures weight you have a guide.

Murph, is there a good scale out there? I read that most scales only measure the body fat in the legs and therefore are not accurate. I'm asking because I'm wondering if one of them has good reviews. I might have looked at old reviews and maybe they came up with a scale that is more accurate.

Charlotte, There's a few but two that come to mind is the one that's costly but very accurate is called the Hydrostatic body Submersion..2nd Tanita most popular because its fast and free at gyms. Tanita sends an electrical current through out the body separating fat mas from tissue,bone and organs,pretty accurate and my legs are solid all my fat hangs out at the middle section. hahaha look in my posting's you'll find my proof of 3 months of read outs laying side by side. apparently I'm the only only that displays it from the machine other people just type out what they want you to see.and or set the incorrect settings for their body type so that it lots like something their not.only a trainer has access to do my readouts so what you see is what you get!

I guess the home scales can measure progress then and perhaps not worth buying.

Patty when I think of diet I think of the way of eating not diet as in I'm going on a diet type thing.. Just the way of thinking but I don't ever really use the word diet. I had a copy worker just realize yesterday that I have lost 80lbs. I hide it well lol.
