Contacted the gym that I am interested in and got some information. They have a personal trainer and can do monthly upfront payment.. Yay!!. They asked when I would like to come for a walk through. I am waiting to see if Monday after work will be good for them. Putting one foot infront of the other!! Tomorrow I need to go to the store and get basics to get back on track. Just need to do it instead of screwing around, been getting into fast food and candy. I wasn't even tempted by this stuff when I was in ketosis. Argh!! Not sure why I have no control.

I have to do something to get rid of this back spasming. I know core work will help in the long run. I haven't had back issues for almost 10 years, but then again I am the weight I was 10 years ago. But I'm not prego I had my sciatic go then and when my kid was 6 months walked up a wheelchair ramp holding my daughter and had my sciatic go again. What's going on now isn't sciatic pain, but spasming right above the hip on the left side. If I lean over as if I was going to touch my toes I'm okay until I straighten back up and the spasms start. When I was standing from sitting it was like my hip didn't want to go into it's normal position but would flatten my back. Instead of having that slight inward curve at the bottom. Now it's left often, but when it does catch it's still as intense. Like give me a minute to gather myself legs quivering close my eyes and breath

Cont. Breath and relax muscles slowly that clenched to support the spasming ones. Swallowing because nausea came up because it hurt so sudden. I have looked and think it's the iliopsoas which is a hip flexor muscle on my left that's going.

Michelle- when lying flat on your back, are you able to raise your straight leg 90 degrees to vertical? Or at least near? If so, while keeping the other leg, your back and head flat on floor, let the vertical leg gently fall left then right. Don’t force it, but as you go back and forth it will gradually relax and go further. Just take it very slow. Trying to teach your hip joint to bend without any load to support. Do the other leg, also. If you cannot raise one or both of the legs, make notes about the pain to tell your medical professional.

You are right about exercise helping. Stronger muscles accustomed to working and moving through a full range of motion seldom spasm.
