ugh... so annoyed that this happens every time I eat out. I will be losing weight so well and even when I stay in my calorie range and everything my weight goes up like 2 lbs., then gets stuck and the takes like 5-7 days to start itself over. It makes me want to cry.... for example next week all the helpers from VBS are supposed to go out and eat and I don't want too. Because when it does this to me I get so discouraged and upset. I wish someone could tell me why this always happens. Same goes if I over eat very much for a day or two. I don't mean binge either. I am talking about 400 calories tops usually. Well time to go get some stuff done I suppose.

Hey ...don't be so down on yourself you are doing a great job being aware is 3/4 of the problem with overeating eat in moderation or whatever you get I tell them to box half of it and take it home for lunch another day take care of you first..

When I'm eating out and know the food is going to be delicious, and therefore tempt me to over-indulge, I start out drinking a lot of water/diet soda before the food arrives. Once the food arrives, I take half bites or cut it up into small child-sized bites so I eat slower and become sated before I have stuffed too much food into my face! This causes some amount of humor with my family and friends as I'm a 6'6" 220lb guy with my food cut up as for a child or taking "baby bites" but I'm ok with that! Good Luck! ;)

I know what u mean buddy , don't be discouraged . I agree with Phule . I find that if I ask for a to go box b4 my meal arrives it's easy to just put half in the to go box and then eat the rest right then and there and not feel guilty. hope this helps !
