So apparently my body has the same personality as my mind. I was very annoyed with my scale the past couple weeks and after I lodged a complaint the scale moved. A LOT! It said well I'll show you! I am glad it did. I get annoyed when I don't see much progress and I am so disciplined. It is getting harder on me in some ways mentally because things seem to be moving slower to me now that I am smaller. But I also am motivated to work harder because I like what I see. I just keep telling myself imagine what you could like like in 6 months or a year from now. I know how strong I am and I know I will accomplish everything I set my mind to do! Also since i am eating clean I feel like superwoman almost everyday! I love it! Also a new yay for me is I have always eaten salad with ranch dressing because I have never found another I really liked. Well I have officially replaced it forever. I just put a serving of cottage cheese on top now and viola. I also replaced croutons with textured vegetable protein. All the same yumminess to me without the crap. I love creamy and crunchy foods. So finding stuff that is either besides raw veggies is a challenge for me. All ideas welcome. So this weekend we are going to Missouri to visit old friends and I am so excited. The only thing I worry about is trying to avoid all processed foods or things heavy in calories. Think I am going to check out what our room offers and pack some groceries up to take. Also my old friends have never seen me this size. I was always 20 pounds heavier. But they did see me pregnant a lot. :) They love me no matter what but I can't wait to see the surprised looks! If you guys have any good ideas for foods to take with me let me know too please. I am open for ideas!

Congratulations! Awesome progress!!! I feel the same way; the closer you are to your goal the harder it is to lose the weight. Just stay motivated and you will see progress. :) I wish I had some ideas for creamy crunchy food, but nothing comes to mind. I always like to bring bananas, apples, baby carrots, and a bag of Perky Jerky when I travel. That way I am less tempted to stop for a candy bar. ;) I’m sure your friends will be blown away by how fit you have gotten, I know I am!

I don't like candy so that isn't a threat. My only threat in life now is ice cream. I think about it whenever I am near Braums or some place like that. Then immediately the words 300-600 calories pop in my mind and that always scares me straight. lol! I am telling you my guilt is always in a match with temptation. Guilt wins 95% of the time.

You are doing sooo well! What an inspiration. How are your measurements? Im so chuffed you persuaded me to measure up; great advice! Have you got access to a freezer over there? Frozen banana tastes super creamy - chop into slices and freeze. My little one was convinced it was icecream!

Good for you! I can so relate as to how much better I feel when I eat clean. I don't know why I'd ever eat differently, except that old habits die slowly. You are such a wonderful inspiration to us all! I try to bring fresh fruit & veggies when I travel as well as nuts & seeds. I also found a line of healthy snack bars by a company called Go Raw. I've gotten them online, but recently have seen them at Whole Foods. Hope you have a great trip & visit with your friends! xoxox
