I saw someone yesterday who hasn’t seen me since December about 20 pounds ago and has only seen me a few time for a few mins for the past year. He told me how impressed he is by my weight loss and determination. He said he trying to lose weight too and asked if I counted calories. I explained that what I did. Strict calorie counting. It’s hard but it’s what worked for me. I’ve been maintaining the last few weeks, but I need to get back in gear because I was eating Easter chocolates and it’s like a gateway drug. I have to get back on track so I don’t fall into the chocolate trap. Watched my 600 pound life last night. Food is fuel not a a friend. Not something we should turn to in times of stress. We deserve better for ourselves and our families so we do not end up a prisoner in our own bodies.
176.4 lb Lost so far: 77.6 lb.    Still to go: 12.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
