Day 26: 127.8# I lost another pound this week. I guess my body has finally figured out that this weight loss adventure is no joke and that I mean business haha. I still blame the loss on my lower calorie consumption over all... Youd be surprised how many calories make up 3 oz of heavy cream, 4 oz cheddar cheese full fat, and any butter/oil we add to our foods. That being said, its not that Im trying to watch my intake, but Im still alternating every other day with that stuff...except the EVOO. That always goes on my salad :) Ive stopped doing any formal exercises this month too d/t utter laziness I guess.
Happy Days!

If you're not exercising you might be losing muscle too. It only takes 2 days for your muscles to start to atrophy. Calories do play some part, however I know we can eat more calories if we don't eat carbs and still lose weight. Metabolic advantange and all that... :) Have a good day.

My back fat is disappearing! I thought this was supposed to be a protein-sparing diet. I certainly eat enough protein to sustain..and the fat that comes along with it. DO you know how many calories of protein and fat I am supposed to eat without wasting muscle?

I don't know about it in that context, sorry. All I know is from ballet, when I was training 6 days per week they told us not to go more than 2 days without doing some exercise to keep up our strength because for every extra day you take off it would take 2 more days to get back to the strenght you had before. For example if I took a week off, it would take 2 weeks to get back to the strength I had before I took a break. Congrats on less back fat! LOL. That was one of the first things I noticed disappearing when I returned to the gym. I would suggest to at least do about a 1/2 hour of stretches/yoga/pilates/crunches per day even if you are taking a break from cardio.
