Day 16: Lost 1.6 pounds over night! TOM is over, and Im not ravenous like I was last week. I enjoyed my morning breakfast consisting of an omelette with onions and peppers and mozzerella cheese..and a cup of coffee with splenda, cream, and cinnamon. Every morning I have this, and it is completely satisfying. I dont find too much that I cannot eat on my diet. Peanut butter from Smart Balance has been terrific..only 3gm net carbs/serving... While Im not craving sweets of any kind any more, I am still completing my meals with either a cup of coffee as above or peanut butter.

Im trying not to eat sporadically with items that have sugar substitutes..but to eat them at the end of meals. Im hoping that my insulin wont fluctuate so much b/c of that. For instance, if I have a Russel STovers choclate, it will be at the end of my meal only..not between meals.

I have read the Carb Addict's Diet and am trying to incorporate their eating pattern of three times/day with perhaps a 4th time for a snack if necessary. Everything is controlled with a protein/fat with a low carb food. Im not eating after 6pm..havent done this in a long time, and it helps control binging! You can bet your boots if I eat after 6pm, I will set myself up for a 500 calorie feast. Its just the way it is..dont know why, but at least I know how to stop it before it happens!
