"Look back over the last 12 months and share what you have accomplished this year?" Question posted by Heather Robertson in Half Size Me Community.

As my peeps back in Philly might respond, "oh my lamb, girrrl where do I begin!!!" *shakin' my head*

1. Investing $500 for a recumbent bike when my mom & I decided to split it 50/50 (believe it or not, folks it all started with that one buy)

2. Joining FS community in 2/17 in order to get in the habit of tracking my food. I use MFP now, but met some wonderful inspiring folks in that community, and one of them referred me to the Half Size me Podcasts.

3. Binge listening to HSM podcasts

4. Incorporated strength training, & yoga in with cardio. Exercise accomplishments include:
->Increasing weights from 4lbs (8lbs total) --> 7lbs (14lbs total)
->transitioned from wall pushups to 33 modified knee pushups, and 4 "un-modified" push ups
->2 --> 1 minute planks, 1-->30 second plank
-> increased resistance from 9 all the way up to level 19 on the recumbent bike. Currently, at level 15 interval training for 40 minutes for a total of 10.8 miles between 66-73 rpms.
-> increased sit ups from 10 ---> 60 in addition to 180 crunches
-> STAYED CONSISTENT DOING EXERCISE 4-5 DAYS A WEEK FOR 11 MONTHS STRAIGHT - AND THAT INCLUDES 5 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL HOOKED UP TO AN IV AND INTRAVENOUS STEROIDS, UNDERGOING 4 MRI'S AND A SPINAL TAP! BAM!

5. Took 2 successful planned maintenance breaks. Listened to "Getting Started for the Final Time", "Getting Sane with the Scale", and "How to Lose Weight the Maintainers Way". Have also listened to all the "boundaries" webinars.

6. Research, research, research -> aaand -> more research

7. Finally stopped making an enemy of my body, stepped up and started appreciating all it has done for me, made a commitment to act on its behalf DAILY, and we're both working diligently so this beautiful being inside can reap all the joy in life she deserves.

8. Joined HSM (Half Size Me community)

9. Recommitted this heart to Buddhist practice, meditation, and Dharma study.

10. Practiced cultivating love and kindness whenever possible ---> especially when avians and raptors are present :-) <3

Oh, yeah I almost forget *whispers softly* --> I'm down 33.8 lbs <3
176.2 lb Lost so far: 33.8 lb.    Still to go: 26.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
