Today I went to a weight loss support group meeting. I was talking toward the end to someone who has had bariatric surgery and is much smaller than I am, and Someone at the beginning of her journey who is larger than me. As I was talking about my large arms. The woman on the beginning of her journey rolled her eyes and gave me that look. You know the look most of us larger people give skinnier people when they talk about losing weight. It was a really weird feeling for me. I have never been the person that someone gives that look to. Now I feel bad for invalidating others when they felt that way. I never meant anything by it toward that person. It was more my own perception that caused me to feel or look at someone else that way. It was really a strange feeling.
