Another no-loss day. Today is Day 8 on induction. About 5 pounds down. I woke up miserable, cranky, and with a headache. And to top it off, I have rebound acne! Hopefully this is hormonal, although I cant figure out why... But, I will press forward! My energy is blah too. I guess not every day is a good one on atkins. I have hardly any ambition to eat..but I did manage to have turkey and cabbage soup...pretty tasty..

130.2 lb Lost so far: 4.8 lb.    Still to go: 11.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You might be coming down with a bug of some sort. 'Tis the season for those right now. Could also be hormonal which would help explain the acne. When I was younger I almost always would break out right around my TOM. Considering that you only have 5.2 pounds to lose you most likely will experience slower weight loss. Also, you may want to consider moving on to OWL a little sooner. It is very important that you follow through with all of the phases so that you can easily maintain your weight. Going on and off Induction all of the time is not the proper way to do Atkins. You've been doing great so far, keep it up.

As a matter of fact, my boy has a cold. My acne isnt due for another few weeks haha :) Oh yes, and I dont have 5 more pounds to lose..that is a short-term goal...I have 20 more pounds to lose. So Im not ready to come off induction. Ive only been at it one week. I thought Id stick to this for a change. I have a bad habit of binging and dieting. Not a good trend :)

You are so right about that. Binging and dieting really takes a toll on your metabolism making it harder and harder to lose weight. I didn't realize that you had only recorded your short term rather than final weight goal. Still, in the grand scheme of things 20 to lose isn't that bad either. Be patient, follow the plan well and I'm sure that good things will happen for you!
