NowIunderstand's Journal, 25 April 2017

I usually don't believe in weighing in too often, but I've seen this daily weighing in work for others. I've git it a try. Maybe it'll keep me more focused.

I just saw in People Magazine, Honey Boo-boo's mom got a gastric bypass.

The magazine says she's now a size 4. If she's a size 4, I must be a size 64... Good Lord, we really don't have the same sizes as we used to!!!!

So if she lost more weight, to say a real size 8 or 9, from where she stands, how will they size her? Size Minus 10? Really, how would that work?

Anyway, good for her if the operation helps.

goodnite all!

Size 4???? Whoa. Oh, but I see she also had to have lots of skin removal surgery (probably because she didn't do intermittent fasting like Dr. Jason Fung recommends!). Tough call. I hope she's healthier because of it and learned how to maintain it.

my 2 cents.... the retailers have found out a long time ago that when you size your cloths smaller sizes they sell a lot more cloths! HA! Also, my guilty pleasure is watching June's show.... I have a feeling it will be canned once the novelty of her weight loss has worn off. Anyway, when I go shopping I pick a few sizes in my range and see which one fits the best. Some people won't buy cloths because it is not a size 2. LOL have a great day!

Yes I know. But isn't it going overboard when June is a size 4. I can appreciate a few sizes but that's really ridiculous. Talk about putting our collective heads in the sand!!! Thanks for your 2 cents!!! Keeps the site interesting! have a great day also!

thanks! Honestly she doesn't look like a size 4 and after all it is television! They do take "poetic license" for a lack of a better term in this case. I'm new to this website but I find I am having great success in my weigh loss efforts. I like the convenience of the logging of my food intake and being held accountable for what I eat and the community is pretty neat too!
