I love that first quick drop when you get back on track... very satisfying.

I did fairly well this week. I kept under my calorie goals most days (went a little bit over on the weekend), and kept up with the workouts this week. Speaking of which, I have a new workout goal.

It's to do this...

I'm close. I think in another week or two of trying I'll be able to do one. Then hopefully I can build up from there and add them to my routine.

In other news... judo. I'm thinking of starting up martial arts again, and there's a judo school nearby that I'm interested in. I plan on going to observe a class sometime soon to see if I like the teaching style. Hopefully it works out.

186.0 lb Lost so far: 79.0 lb.    Still to go: 1.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great work! That handstand pushup is awesome--I am totally impressed that you can *almost* do one. Will you post a video of yourself doing it once you reach your goal?

@erika: When I finally manage to do one, I'll see if I can get someone to catch it on video... or at the very least take a few pics of how red-faced I get when I'm upside down.

Nice drop, yeah it is a good motivator to watch it drop like that. Man those push ups look even harder than a pull up. I will stick to pull ups lol (eventually I will do one!) I think you should get back into martial arts too.

Oh my gosh, if I tried that kind of a push-up, I'd totally break my neck. Dude, if you can manage one of those, you MUST do a vid. Nice loss this week!

Wouldn't it be cool if you could go to Japan for 6 months and in a judo school there? I saw that on Discovery Channel and after that training you'd be good to go like Uma Thurman in "Kill Bill" lol. But seriously good luck if you decide to pursue judo.
