notelaine's Journal, 13 April 2016

Blah. Time to get back to weighing in every Wednesday. This bump is the result of emotional eating/binging over the past months. Finally have it under control again and am back at it. Really didn't want to record this but not being accountable is only hurting myself.

On the plus side though, I just had my body fat measurements taken again and I've stayed constant, so I've gained a bit of muscle and lost an inch in my waist which is exciting. I actually feel pretty good about my body right now. Every morning when I'm doing my hair in the bathroom, I feel like I spend most of the time checking out my arm muscles, lol! Also running longer and faster than I ever have, and have a 50 mile bike ride planned for Saturday.

Just need to keep my calories in check and watch the alcohol on the weekends. My weekday plans are right on track, it's just the unplanned stuff that derails me. I need to separate social experiences from food. I don't need the giant hamburger with french fries and a beer to enjoy an evening with friends.
210.6 lb Lost so far: 39.4 lb.    Still to go: 40.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I was hesitant about recording my weight this week, but I have to hold myself accountable. Next week's weigh in will be much better.

Haha, Glen, I'm thinking grilled filet mignon and a small scotch would be a good substitute ;)

Notelaine, I hear you, it's always the drinks and the recreational green stuff that bumps my weight back up. I guess when you're having fun, I just lose against willpower! But... More power to you for recognizing!! Idea: bring your cat along! Hahaha!!

Sometimes it's tough recording a weigh in or what you've eaten but honesty with yourself is important. Although we're all here for and to support, we're only really accountable to ourselves. I like the filet mignon and scotch idea 😉 Have fun
